Tell us about the facility and the route.
Share the facility location, unit size, floor and distance from the parking area. Include gates, narrow aisles, steps, freight elevators and any time limits on the loading area. An upstairs indoor unit requires different planning from a drive-up unit.
Check whether carts are available and whether they need reserving. Tell the team what equipment you can supply and what you need reviewed in the quote. Facility equipment and a particular parking position cannot be assumed.
Arrange access with the storage provider.
You arrange the storage rental, permission for helpers, entry access and any required authorization. Confirm gate hours, office hours, elevator availability and the time when the work must finish.
Have the key, lock and access instructions ready. Discuss sensitive entry codes directly with the team when needed. If access or facility rules change, contact us so the work and appointment can be reviewed.
Choose what comes out first and what stays reachable.
Identify the furniture and boxes included in the job. For unloading into storage, choose a layout and tell us which belongings you may need to reach later. Mark the items that should stay near the entrance and leave any access space required by the facility.
For a partial move-out, identify exactly what goes and what stays. Taking belongings out of storage does not authorize disposal. If unwanted items need removing, request a separate JunkPDX removal estimate.
Packing and portable containers are different tasks.
If belongings still need wrapping or boxing, include packing for storage in the quote. Confirm protective materials, item restrictions and suitability for the storage environment with your provider. Our labor does not replace the facility’s storage guidance.
This service is for work at a fixed storage facility. If a portable container will be delivered to your home, use the container-loading page so the request includes delivery, placement and collection timing. Packahome never supplies the truck, unit or container.

Can you help move belongings into a storage unit?
Yes. Request carrying and placement labor and describe the furniture, boxes, vehicle, facility access and unit location. The team confirms suitable tasks, equipment, staffing and the quote.
Can I hire help for only part of a storage unit?
Yes. Identify the items to move and those that must remain. Include the route, access space and destination so the crew can review a practical scope.
Do you bring a truck or rent the unit for me?
No. You arrange the storage unit, vehicle, driver and transportation. Packahome provides the agreed labor at the work location and never supplies a truck.
Can the crew enter the facility without me?
Discuss this in advance. The facility must permit helper access, and the team needs agreed authorization, entry arrangements and clear item instructions. Do not assume unattended access can be accepted.
