Plan the contents and protective materials.
Describe the furniture, mattresses, appliances and boxes involved. Flag fragile finishes, awkward shapes and anything you will need to reach again. Review blankets, wrapping, packing supplies and load-securing tasks before loading starts.
Confirm weight limits, prohibited items and loading requirements with your container provider. Our crew reviews a practical approach for the items included in the job; specialist or unusually heavy items require their own handling review.
Unloading into the rooms you choose.
Have a destination in mind for furniture and labels on the boxes. Tell us which rooms matter first, what needs carrying upstairs and which belongings are going into a separate storage area.
Opening boxes and putting everyday belongings away is unpacking work. Include it in the request if you want more than carrying and unloading. Packing for storage can also be quoted before the container is loaded.

Can you load a POD or portable storage container?
Request container-loading labor and share the container type, size, work location, contents and delivery or pickup timing. The team confirms the scope, suitable equipment and labor appointment.
Can I request only POD unloading help?
Yes. Tell us which items need unloading, the route into the property and the destination rooms. Unpacking, furniture rearranging or other tasks can be added when agreed in the quote.
Will Packahome deliver or move the container?
No. You arrange container rental, delivery, placement, collection and transport. Packahome provides the agreed labor at the work location and never supplies a truck.
Can I arrange packing and container loading together?
Yes. Request both tasks and describe the rooms, contents, materials and container timing. The quote must include each task and the supplies or equipment to be provided.
