Moving labor by Solely Junk
Apartment move.
Extra hands for the hard part.
From the apartment door to the truck you arrange, get help with the carrying, loading and unloading in your agreed plan. Share the floor, stairs, elevator access and parking before requesting the crew.
The route matters as much as the room count.
Tell us the floor, number of stair flights, narrow turns and distance between the unit and the vehicle. Include shared hallways, exterior steps, locked entrances and any place where furniture may be awkward to turn.
Photos and item dimensions help us review the work. A large sofa, bed frame or heavy dresser needs a suitable route and handling plan. Do not assume a piece will fit through a doorway or elevator because it came into the building before.
Check the building arrangements.
Ask your property manager about moving hours, loading spaces, elevator reservations and protection requirements. You make those arrangements and obtain any required permissions. Let us know what the building requires before confirming the appointment.
Have keys and access instructions ready for the visit. Keep codes and sensitive access details out of the public-facing request notes; discuss them directly with the team when needed.
Choose carrying, loading, packing or a combination.
An apartment request can focus on loading your rental vehicle, unloading after arrival or carrying selected furniture. Packing and unpacking can also be included when described and agreed in the quote.
If you need work at two apartments, share both locations, access conditions and timing. We review each stage and confirm the appointment. Packahome never supplies a truck, driver or transportation.
Make the working space ready.
Set aside your keys, medication, documents and valuables. Label destination rooms on boxes, identify what is staying, and clear an agreed route through the unit. Keep pets, children and everyday traffic away from the lifting route.
Tell the team about existing damage and delicate floors or finishes before work. Review padding, equipment and any furniture disassembly in advance. Working hard includes pausing when the route or item needs a different approach.
Show us the route.

Stairs, turns and carrying space
An indoor staircase and landing. Share photos of your own route so the team can review access for the items involved.
Check the work location.
We review requests across Portland metro, the Canby–Wilsonville–Woodburn corridor and Vancouver, Washington. Include the actual work address and timing so the team can confirm coverage and availability.
Find help by areaQuestions before you book.
Can I hire apartment moving help without a truck?
Yes. Packahome supplies labor only, so you can request carrying or furniture-moving tasks within the property. If belongings are being transported, you arrange the truck or other vehicle and driver.
Can you carry furniture up apartment stairs?
Request the task and describe the item dimensions, weight if known, stair flights, turns and doorways. The team reviews the route, staffing and equipment before accepting the work.
Do I reserve the service elevator?
Yes. Arrange the elevator, loading area and any building permissions directly with your property manager. Share the reservation window and requirements with the team before the labor appointment is confirmed.
Can you help at both apartments?
Include both addresses, the work at each location, transport timing and access details. The team confirms coverage, staffing and appointments for the stages it can accept.
