You can finish the clothing and books yourself and ask for help with the kitchen or another room that is holding up the move. Describe the contents, not just the room count: a few cleared cupboards and a full kitchen need different amounts of packing work.

Choose the drawers, shelves and categories included in the visit. Set aside everyday dishes, medication, important documents and the belongings you will carry yourself. Identify delicate glassware, unusual pieces and any items that need a different packing approach before the quote.

If you are moving to less space, first identify what is coming with you. Make a clear keep area and a separate place for undecided belongings. A written list helps if family members are involved; choose one person to approve changes to the work.

Pack the decided items while leaving questions available for review. Label boxes for the rooms at the next home rather than the room they came from. Packing does not authorize disposal. Ask for a separate JunkPDX removal quote if you want unwanted items taken away.

List usable boxes, tape and protective materials already on hand. Tell us what you need supplied and confirm the cost in the quote. Choose a staging area that keeps entrances and everyday paths open while packing continues.

Share the move date, work address, stairs and access details. If you need carrying, loading or unpacking too, name those tasks and locations. You arrange any truck, container, driver and transportation; Packahome supplies the accepted labor.
