A plan for both ends

Unloading there.
Two addresses mean two access routes, two sets of tasks and a schedule that depends on the transportation you arrange. Put both stages in the request so the labor plan covers the actual work.
Start with two separate task lists.
At the first location, identify what needs packing, carrying or loading. At the second, identify what needs unloading, carrying upstairs, furniture placement or unpacking. These are different tasks even when the same belongings are involved.
Give the team both actual work locations. A quote for one address does not confirm work at the other, and a vehicle trip is not part of a labor-only request. Packahome never supplies a moving truck or driver.
| Location | Details to prepare |
|---|---|
| Where items leave | Rooms, item list, unfinished packing, stairs, parking, route to the vehicle and loading deadline. |
| Where items arrive | Delivery access, destination rooms, unloading space, stairs or elevator, and any arrival or finish deadline. |
Let the vehicle schedule shape the appointments.
Confirm when your truck or container will be ready before asking the team to plan labor around it. Share rental collection and return arrangements, container delivery and pickup dates, and any property handover deadline.
Allow the team to review the work at each end rather than treating the drive as an exact gap between appointments. Ask what staffing, travel, waiting time and changes mean for your quote. Agree on the appointment at each location before relying on the schedule.

Access can be very different at the other end.
An easy route out of one home does not describe the route into the next. Send photos or dimensions for narrow doors, stairs and awkward turns at both locations. Describe the furniture and its destination, including pieces that may need disassembly.
Arrange any building entry, elevator reservation, loading space or facility permission with the property contact. Share the rules and reservation windows before confirming labor. Keep private entry codes out of general form notes and discuss them directly with the team.
Plan apartment accessGive the unloading a destination.
Choose room names before the truck is loaded and use the same names on box labels. At arrival, identify where the larger furniture should go and which boxes need to stay accessible. That keeps the request focused on useful placement rather than leaving every decision until the vehicle is open.
Opening boxes and putting belongings away is unpacking. If you want that help after unloading, include the priority rooms in the request. Keep medication, documents, keys and valuables under your own control.

Use these prompts in your request.
- Loading location and the work needed before the vehicle can leave.
- Unloading location, destination rooms and access at arrival.
- Vehicle or container type, size, readiness and rental deadlines.
- Preferred appointment timing at each end and any firm building window.
- Packing supplies, protective materials and equipment available at each location.
- Your contact for changes, including a delayed vehicle or changed access.
Review the accepted tasks, labor basis, crew arrangements, materials and any travel or waiting charges in writing. If one location is outside the accepted service area, the team must confirm what work can be arranged.
Understand the labor quoteQuestions about two-location labor.
Can I request loading at one address and unloading at another?
Yes. Send both work locations, the tasks at each, the vehicle details and your timing. The team reviews coverage, staffing and an appointment for each stage. Do not assume that approval for loading also confirms unloading.
Does the same crew meet me at both addresses?
Discuss the staffing plan with the team. The accepted work, crew arrangements, travel or waiting charges and timing must be confirmed in your quote. Packahome never supplies the moving truck or driver.
What if my truck or container arrives late?
Contact the team as soon as you know. Share the revised arrival and any building or rental deadline. The labor appointment needs review; a crew or later start is not automatically guaranteed. Ask about the change and waiting terms before confirming.
